Billy has immediately made himself right at home with his foster family- pups big and small included!
Billy is doing AMAZING with crate training and can sleep throughout the night without accidents. If he does need the occasional nighttime potty break, he will whine to let you know. He has been successfully potty training with the verbal cue “go potty.”
Billy is SO affectionate and loves kisses on his snout in return! He loves being around his people and is extremely friendly and outgoing.
Billy is super observant for a puppy. He loves watching passing cars when on car rides and he loves checking out new sounds outside. He is super curious and confident enough to check it out independently.
Billy is very flexible when it comes to routine. He loves his play time but he also won’t turn down a nap in his crate with a snuggly blanket. He enjoys a dark space or a towel or shirt draped over the front of his crate for maximum sleep potential.
Billy LOVES toys! Benebone puppy chewers are his current absolute favorite, but he does enjoy crinkly and soft toys as well as balls.
He does well on a leash and can usually be re-directed from distractions pretty easily, when need be.
Billy gets along with the resident pups in his foster home and is not intimidated in the least. He doesn’t seem to actively seek out the attention of other dogs, so he would do fine as a single pup in the home or as an addition!
Billy has completed his veterinary care (neuter, vaccines, microchip). His adoption fee is $300. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP!
A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period.
