Thelma is a sweet, gentle puppy who can be a little reserved when she first meets someone, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate personality starts to shine. She is happiest when she has a canine buddy nearby to help show her the ropes.
She’s doing great with crate training and housebreaking! Thelma uses pee pads inside but knows that outside is the best place to potty whenever she gets the chance.
Thelma absolutely loves the company of other dogs, so her forever home will need to have at least one playful dog companion for her to grow up with.
Based on her mom’s size—about 15–20 lbs—we’re estimating Thelma may stay under roughly 35–40 lbs full-grown, but since we haven’t done a DNA test, her adult size is anyone’s guess!

Thelma and Louise will complete their veterinary care (spay, vaccines, microchip) on Thursday, September 24th. They are eligible for foster-to-adopt (separately) to anyone within one hour of Lexington, KY.
