Russell is an older puppy with a reduced adoption fee, which we hope helps him find a good home! He's been growing up in foster care and we'd love for him to find a forever family as soon as possible so we can continue to save more puppies like him.
Russell is equally cute and tenacious and just wants to be included. Whether it’s laying on the couch with you chewing his toys, going outside in the backyard or on a walk, or laying in the floor watching you clean house. He's a sweet boy but has a rowdy play style with others. In typical puppy fashion, Russell is full of energy and curious about everything. His foster mom describes him as the definition of “boys will be boys” in puppy form.
In his foster home, Russell has not had any accidents in the house and even alerts his foster mom that he needs to go out by pawing at the door. Russell’s also been crate trained and will lay down and wait for your command of “okay” to exit. He’s working on perfecting his leash manners and not get distracted by all the exciting things. He has mastered some basic commands such as “Sit,” “Come,” and “Place.”
Russell is getting along well with the other dogs in his foster home and sometimes even goes to work with his foster mom, where he meets and plays with new dogs. He is also good with the cats - just curious and wants to play.
We estimate that this litter was born around end of September and that they'll be 40-60 lb full-grown. They are mixed breed puppies.
Russell has completed his vet care (neuter, vaccines, microchip) and can't wait to meet you! His adoption fee has been partially sponsored and is now $200. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP!
