Ruby is currently working hard in a board-and-train program. She gets along well with other dogs and pays no attention to the cats or chickens that live with her trainers. Previously, she has lived with other dogs and an infant. After training, Ruby will require surgery for a torn ACL, so she needs a foster family to recover from surgery with starting mid-June. We'd LOVE to find a foster-to-adopt home in the Lexington area for her! Please reach out to us for more information.
Other than the TPLO surgery, Ruby has completed her vet care. Her adoption fee is $250, however, we offer a discount for foster-to-adopt. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll get back to you immediately.
A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial or foster-to-adopt period.
