Every now and then, a truly special dog comes along—and we know there’s a human out there searching for a gem just like Rubi.
This gorgeous Pit mix is the total package. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and smart enough to pick up routines in no time. Whether she’s tossing around toys in the backyard or happily chewing on a sturdy Benebone inside, Rubi knows how to keep herself entertained. (Just don’t expect plush toys to survive long!)
One of her most endearing quirks? Her snoring. We’re talking legendary levels of loud. If you love a dog with personality, her nighttime soundtrack will have you laughing.
Rubi is wonderful with people of all ages, though because of her size and enthusiasm, we’d recommend a home with children 10 years and older. She currently lives with three neutered male dogs and does great with them. She enjoys a rough-and-tumble play style, so her ideal canine companion would be a laid-back or submissive male who appreciates her confident personality.
She’s also a total sweetheart when it comes to food—she takes treats gently, isn’t food aggressive, and has lovely manners around mealtime.
