Rowan is an active, independent puppy looking for a fun forever home! He is starting to get the idea of fetch but puppy attention spans are short! He will grab anything at his level and proudly strut around in front of everyone to show off his find. But when all the fun and games are over, he loves to curl up against another pup or his human for a nap.
Any kind of home that keeps him busy would be ideal; He’d love another canine companion or some kiddos to chase around (he's particularly fond of the child in his foster home!), or an adult with an active lifestyle. Rowan loves to explore outdoors and would make an excellent hiking or camping buddy. We recently discovered that he's even comfortable around horses!
In foster care, he’s working on potty training (has mastered the doggie door), crate training (rests quietly through the night), and basic commands like "Sit" and "Leave it." He’s fostered with adult dogs and a child. We think Rowan will end up being between 40-50 pounds full grown.

A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period.
