Exciting news: Moonpie is currently in a 4-week board and train program and will be ready to meet her forever family by March!
Moonpie is a bright, joyful soul who lives life like one big road trip. This girl is accustomed to adventure and absolutely thrives on it — she’s an excellent traveler who’s always ready to hop in the car and see what’s next. Whether it’s a new trail, a new town, or a new couch to claim, Moonpie is all in.
She loves all humans — truly. Moonpie is a total social butterfly who charms everyone she meets with her happy energy and infectious enthusiasm. One shelter volunteer summed it up best when they laughed and said Moonpie is so happy she “must poop rainbows and unicorns!” We couldn’t agree more.
Moonpie is also housebroken, crate trained, and knows how to settle into home life just as easily as she dives into adventure.
Important note: In a forever home, Moonpie can live with another dog(s) that is medium-large in size. Her favorite canine friends are playful but laid-back. It's best that she goes to a home without cats, unless the cats have their own, separate space.
