Loretta is an older girl who steals the hearts of every person and dog she meets! She is friendly, easygoing, and always wagging her tail. Her favorite activity is rolling around in the grass. She was saved days before being euthanized at no fault of her own.
Her ideal home would be with or without an adult dog, but she is so friendly that she gets along with the high-energy puppy she is currently being fostered with. We haven't tested her with cats or kids yet, but we expect her to do fine with kids. Older children may be best for her as she is still learning not to jump when excited (especially around food).
She has learned to “sit” and is working on taking treats gently. She is very food-motivated and twirls when she realizes it’s dinner time! If you’re looking for an easygoing buddy who is happy to take a walk or chill on the couch with you, Loretta is your gal.
We estimate that Loretta is about 9 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. She recently had some dental work done.
