Meet Liz – your future House Hippo!
Liz is just under 2 years old and is the definition of sweet, squishy, and soulful. She came into the shelter with her two puppies, and while they were rescued quickly, Liz had to wait her turn. Now it’s her time to be chosen.
Liz is currently fostered with other dogs and cats. She can be picky with her adult canine friends but seems to really love puppies. Liz is gentle and respectful with all of the farm animals she’s met thus far (chickens, bunnies, goats, and llamas); She gives a quick sniff and happily goes on her way.
Liz is doing great with housetraining and is learning that her crate is her safe place. She’s eager to please, but her favorite skill by far is professional-level couch snuggling. If you’re sitting down, she’s already planning how to join you. She’s calm, loving, and endlessly affectionate.
Liz doesn’t need chaos or constant action. She just wants a safe home, a soft couch, and people to love. If you’ve been looking for the perfect low-key cuddle buddy, Liz might just be your girl. The best house hippo, waiting patiently for her forever...
Liz has completed her vet care (spay, vaccines, microchip) and cannot wait to meet you! Her adoption fee is $250. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP!
A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period.
