Kane is one of the most resilient dogs we know. Because he's been through so much in his short life, we are looking for some very special adopters for him.
Kane has started professional training while in his foster home, and we expect his adopter to continue his training (at no cost). Kristen McHenry, his trainer, says Kane is "the best boy and has the sweetest soul!" At his trainer’s professional recommendation, Kane would be best as an only pet, but applicants who currently have a dog(s) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. He’d love to live with an active person or family willing to give him all the attention and love he deserves. Kane will return that love and affection ten-fold!

A meet with any approved adopter's current pets is required before starting the two-week adoption trial.
