At around a year and a half old, Penny is the best of both worlds: young, fun-loving energy with just enough maturity to settle in beautifully at home. We believe she’s a Staffy x Hound mix, weighing in at a solid (and adorable!) 40 pounds — compact, muscular, and smaller than she looks in photos.
Penny is a social girl who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats. She’s the kind of pup who would love a playmate or two, but she’s just as happy soaking up attention from her people. She does have a bouncy, enthusiastic personality, so while she absolutely adores kids, she’d do best in a home with children over 6 who can handle her playful energy.
This smart girl already has a strong foundation: she’s crate trained, housebroken, and has completed all her veterinary care — meaning she’s truly ready to settle right into her forever home. Penny also takes treats gently (a total sweetheart!) and rides calmly and quietly in the car, making her an easy companion for errands or road trips.
