Polly is a sweet, playful pup with the perfect balance of energy and cuddle time. She comes out of her kennel in the morning ready to play, especially if squeaky toys or treats are involved, but once she’s burned off that excitement she’s happy to curl up for a cozy nap.
She’s very submissive and always looking for approval, making her incredibly gentle — especially with kids. Polly absolutely adores her foster’s toddler, showering him with tail wags and kisses while patiently accepting hugs and face pets.
She finds cats entertaining and may chase them to play, but it’s all in fun — if they hiss or swat, she immediately rolls over in apology.
Polly would do best in a home with another friendly, playful (medium energy) dog to help build her confidence. She also loves being outside, so a fenced yard (4 ft+ preferred) would make her very happy.
She is mostly housebroken, crate trained, and ready to bring love, playfulness, and lots of squeaky-toy joy to her forever family.
