Patches is a super sweet loving fella. He is a bit reserved for a bit before his silly side comes out. He is a big ol' boy but plays very well with other dogs.
When he plays, he plays hard! He loves to run but is not aware of just how big he is. He is a solid boy & has some power behind him. He has a hop in his run as well. The cutest thing to watch.
Patches has done well around children previously and he LOVES toddlers! But with his size he can tend to accidentally knock them down, but is ready to give them kisses to make up. He is a lover for sure! He is ready to roll over on his back for you to rub his belly at any time. And he loves to give kisses.
Patches is an adventurous boy when he goes outside. He loves to explore & can tend to pull a little on the leash. He will need to have a TALL fence, as he jumps like a gazelle! He easily hops over baby gates.
Patches knows how to sit on command, but doesn’t always choose to do so... He will need some more work on manners but does stop doing something when told to. He has a very laid back personality. He doesn’t always love to go in his crate, but will with a treat or some loving reassurance, and he does great once he settles.
Patches is potty trained and will go to the door to scratch & whine to let you know. He also has been around chickens. They were in their run, but he never tried to attack them or act aggressive towards them. He just sniffed them & went on about his business.
