We are thrilled you want to volunteer with us. Our volunteers are the backbone of our rescue. We can't wait to introduce you to our organization and the team that makes it all happen. Please take a few minutes to read through the website. Learn our foster and adoption processes (no quizzes...we promise), and read the stories of the dogs whose lives have been changed through Saved By Fate Dog Rescue. When you're ready, please fill out our VOLUNTEER APPLICATION!
"It’s so easy to feel helpless at a time when so many dogs are in need throughout Kentucky. Volunteering with Saved by Fate gives us a chance to make a difference just one event, one transport, one home visit, one overnight foster, or even one Facebook share at a time. Collectively, we come together as a community of compassionate people who want to make a lasting change for bully breeds and for all dogs and dog owners in KY. From youth education, to community spay & neuter assistance, to pulling dogs from death row just in time, we come together one volunteer at a time to make that change happen. I’m so proud to be a part of an organization like Saved by Fate. I’d like to welcome you to join this passionate community of volunteers in helping us to continue making a difference."

Sometimes we have adoptable dogs living in boarding facilities when a foster home isn't available. You can sign up to take that dog out for a few hours to give them a break from their boarding kennel.
